昆士兰理工大学邀请选择性入学的成人学生参加这个选择性入学信息之夜，使学生获取进入该大学的信息。
这个活动将帮助那些已经许多年不学习，但是想通过自己的生活和工作经验寻找有没有符合该大学的入学要求的条件。
现在也鼓励那些打算学习TAFE课程或是升职的非在校生参加这个夜晚的活动。
这个活动主要是为那些选择性入学的成人学生提供一些入学信息，包括有：如何针对将来就业选择课程，入学流程，如何学习快捷课程后进入大学学习以及一些常见问题。

Alternative Entry Information Evening
QUT would like to invite all prospective mature-age and alternative entry students to an informative session on gaining entry into university.
The evening can help people who may not have studied for many years but would like to find out if their life and work experience would qualify them for university entry.
Recent school leavers are also encouraged to attend if they would like to find out how to upgrade their OP, or perhaps build on TAFE studies.
The Alternative Entry Information Evening will focus on providing all prospective mature-age and alternative entry students information on making course and career decisions, admission procedures, upgrading pathways and QTAC, costs of going to university, transition and support services.
