蒂尔尼（Carole Tilney）是南岸职业技术与继续教育学院的学生，来自波德瑟郡（Beaudesert），获得了澳大利亚专业摄影师协会举办的澳洲年度最佳学生摄影师之称。
卡罗尔还因此获得了墨尔本本月最高声望奖，她是昆士兰州第一个获得此奖的职业技术与继续教育学院的学生。
卡罗尔就读于南岸职业技术与继续教育学院的Morningside校区，学习摄影文凭课程，今年是最后一年课程。
“我一直不敢相信自己获奖了。”卡罗尔说。
“我的梦想是成为一名摄影艺术家，并且对商业摄影和广告摄影都很感兴趣”。

Southbank Institute student judged best student photographer in
Southbank Institute of Technology student Carole Tilney from Beaudesert has been celebrating after being named the Australian Student Photographer of the Year by the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers.
Carole won the prestigious award in
Nine Southbank Institute of Technology students were also selected as the best team from an Australian photographic education institution or facility.
Carole is a final year Diploma of Photography student at Southbank Institute’s Morningside campus.
“I am thrilled to have received this recognition,” Carole said.
“My ambition is to work as a Photographic Artist and my interests also lie in Commercial/Advertising Photography.
“This award will help me to achieve these goals,” she said.
Carole impressed the judges with three images, two in contemporary portrait and one illustrative.
“I plan to hold a solo exhibition in 2008 and the graduating class of 2007 from the Southbank Institute of Technology Photography Course will be holding an exhibition of our best work at the Circle Gallery, West End on the 23rd November 2007,” Carole said.
“This will be a great opportunity to showcase our talent to the industry and the public.”
Southbank Institute of Technology Director Craig Sherrin congratulated Carole and her class mates for what he described as “an amazing achievement” in the AIPP awards.
“This shows beyond any shadow of a doubt, that Southbank Institute is producing the finest in the field of photography.”
