HSK汉语水平考试

　　1. What is the HSK?

　　HSK stands for Hanyushuiping Kaoshi and is a Chinese language proficiency test, it is a standard test designed to check the Chinese language proficiency of non-native Chinese speakers. The HSK committee under the Ministry of Education (MOE) and is responsible for organizing the test, setting, reviewing and marking the examination paper, and issuing certificates.

　　HSK是汉语水平考试拼音的所写，它是测试第一语言非汉语者的汉语水平的系列考试。中国教育部设立国家汉语水平考试委员会负责组织考试，核查和评定考试卷以及发放资格证书。

　　2. Types of HSK

　　HSK consists of the basic Chinese proficiency test (HSK Basic), the elementary and intermediate Chinese proficiency test (HSK Elementary-Intermediate) and the advanced Chinese proficiency test (HSK Advanced).

　　HSK包括HKS(基础)HSK(初中等)和HSK(高等)。

　　3. Eligibility for HSK

　　1) HSK (Basic)

　　Learners with the basic Chinese proficiencies, namely, those who have taken 100 to 800 hours of regular modern Chinese learning (including those with the equivalent learning experiences)

　　2) HSK (Elementary-Intermediate)

　　Applicants at the elementary and intermediate level in Chinese proficiency are those who have taken 400-2000 regular hours of modern Chinese courses (including those whose proficiency in Chinese is similar to that standard).

　　3) The HSK (Advanced)

　　Designed to measure the Chinese proficiency of those who are proficient in Chinese, i.e. who have taken 3000 regular hours or more modern Chinese learning (including those whose proficiency in Chinese is similar to that standard).

　　HSK的适用对象

　　1) HKS(基础)

　　凡接受过100-800学时现代汉语正规教育(包括有相同学习经验)的汉语初学者。

　　2) HSK(初中等)

　　凡接受400-2000学时现代汉语正规教育(包括专业水平相似)的汉语初中等学习者。

　　3) HSK(高等)

　　凡接收3000以上学时现代汉语正规教育的高等汉语水平学习者。

　　4. What is the function of HSK Certificate?

　　1) To certify that the holder has acquired the required Chinese Proficiency to enter a Chinese college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student.

　　2) To certify that the holder can be exempt from taking the Chinese language course depending on the level of certification.

　　3) As a basis for the employers to evaluate the Chinese proficiency of the job applicants.

　　《汉语水平证书》有什么效力?

　　1) 作为达到进中国高等院校入系学习专业或报考研究生所要求的实际汉语水平的证明。

　　2) 作为汉语水平达到某种等级或免修相应级别汉语课程的证明。

　　3) 作为聘用机构录用人员时评价其汉语水平的依据。

　　5. When is the HSK test held?

　　The HSK is held regularly both in China and overseas annually. In domestic, generally the test schedule is as follows，

　　•HSK (Basic): twice in a year

　　•HSK (Elementary-Intermediate): twice in a year

　　•HSK (Advanced): twice in a year

　　However, the timetable is changeable; for further details concern with respective university.

　　每年在中国和海外都举办汉语水平考试。在国内，通常考试时间安排如下：

　　•HSK基础：全年有两次考试

　　•HSK初中等：一年有两次考试
