An exciting and generous new scholarship scheme is available for students wishing to study for a Master's degree in education and lifelong learning in London and other European cities.
Investment in lifelong learning is increasing all over the world. The challenge lies in developing educational systems suited to various social and organisational contexts. What new opportunities will lifelong learning lead to for the individual and for society? And what new demands does this place on educational policy and practice?
The European Master's in Lifelong Learning: Policy and Management (MA LLL) offers students the opportunity to study and compare worldwide policy and practice related to lifelong learning. The programme is supported by the European Union's Erasmus Mundus scheme, and is run by a consortium of three leading European centres of educational research: the Danish School of Education of the University of Aarhus, the Institute of Education of the University of London, and the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain.
These three universities have pooled their expertise to provide a critical perspective on lifelong learning discourse, a global and comparative approach, and a strong focus on issues of quality assurance.
Funding from the Erasmus Mundus scheme enables us to offer around 25 scholarships per year to students from outside the European Union - these are sufficient to cover both tuition costs and living expenses for two years.
The European Masters in Lifelong Learning: Policy and Management provides a unique opportunity for some of the best students from around the world to pursue studies in lifelong learning in some of Europe's most exciting cities.
