播客 SkillSoup 由学术技能和学习中心 (ASLC) 的Poore博士于2月份在澳洲国立大学创制,是一种使用新技术来满足科技一代或“数字一代”的年轻人的方式。
为了制作出更符合实同人群针对高等教育学习的不同方面进行交流、调查。

SkillSoup was created by Dr Megan Poore from the Academic Skills and Learning Centre (ASLC) at ANU in February as a means of using new technology to reach technology-savvy young people, or “digital natives”.
Each week, Dr Poore and her student co-host Darian Williams chat with academics, general staff members and select students about various aspects of studying at a tertiary level.
“We at the ASLC know the right questions to ask because we see students all day, every day,” Dr Poore said. “Then we’ve got a real live human being creating an answer that’s relevant to an issue, and one that’s based on that person’s tremendous knowledge and experience.”

The judges praised the podcast for its effectiveness in addressing educational objectives, understanding and addressing its audience, demonstrating creativity and being in a form that could easily be adapted by other educators.
“[This is] an amazing production,” judge Kathy King said. “These are teaching skills, these are student learning skills, and what they [the SkillSoup team] are really working towards are the adult learning skills”
