A Queensland Conservatorium voice teacher for more than 40 years, Professor Delpratt holds the record for the longest serving staff member. She was also the first graduate to receive a Master Diploma of Music.
Her significant contributions to the development of the institution include 18 years as chair of the vocal department and three years as Acting Provost and Director.
Professor Delpratt received a Personal Chair in Singing for excellence in teaching, the first such appointment at an Australian university.

In a career spanning 30 years, concert pianist Piers Lane is internationally recognised as a recitalist, chamber musician, broadcaster, recording artist, lecturer and musicologist.
