Sacramento State’s MBA for Executives program will offer business administration courses at the San Ramon Valley Conference Center in San Ramon, Calif., starting in the fall. San Ramon is located about 35 miles from San Francisco and about 80 miles from Sacramento.
The program, accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, is a learning tool to help experienced professionals advance to leadership positions.
“Ours is a uniquely designed program collaborating with local business leaders,” says Sanjay Varshney, dean College of Business Administration. “San Ramon is a largely underserved major metropolitan center and a presence in the global market.”
Tuition is $36,300, which includes textbooks, course materials, meals, career workshops and an international study trip to educate students about emerging markets and economies. Participants complete the program in 15 months, meeting each Saturday in San Ramon.
Since 2005, the College of Business Administration has graduated more than 300 EMBA students and continues to fuel top positions within the leading Fortune 500 companies in Sacramento at the Bay Area, Varshney says.
